Hi there, y’all! Welcome to my back fence, where I like to spend time enjoying the natural beauty that surrounds my home. I’m so glad you stopped by to share some time with me. Hope you didn’t have any trouble finding the place. Sometimes when it rains, the pasture gets a little muddy, but that’s why boots were invented, right? Muddy or not, it’s still a great place to get acquainted and make new friends. And to share thoughts.

While you take a look around, I’ll wait right here with Reino. After you’ve checked out all the fun stuff, come on back and tell me what you think. Do you have any druthers as to what you’d like to see here? Topics you’d like to read about? I welcome your comments and will do my best to answer them all.

I’ll be here at the back fence every Thursday, beginning July 28, 2011, so put a reminder on your calendar to stop by. Find out what’s new on the writing scene, what I’m reading, check out the list of blogs and favorite links for recent additions or simply read my thoughts for Thursday. I may even have a favorite quote for the day.

I’ll try to make your visit fun and informative, whether you’re a reader or a writer. In the future, I’ll have articles on timely topics (and some not-so-timely), guest bloggers, interviews and a few surprises, too. Your Thursdays will never be boring here at the back fence.

So invite your friends to join us, and ya’ll come on back now, you hear?

Loralee

  6. Thanks so much, Rosanne! Actually, I haven't had a horse of my own since I was twelve and lived in Texas. Reino belongs to my nieces two fences over from our place and he agreed to pose with me if I gave him photo credits. He loves the publicity. Dodger, his buddy, posed with us in photos on my website, www.loraleelillibridge.com
    Come back and visit again.

  9. Welcome to the blogosphere! Your blog is beautiful and I can't wait to visit with you at your back fence. Thanks for including my blog link! You're the best.

One of these days I'll have to drop in and visit during a MMRWA meeting ( you still allow guests, don't you?) But for right now I'm working 11-12 hour days at the blueberry farm. Maybe this fall when things slow down.

  12. Aunt Loralee, what a beautiful place. Is this your home in Texas. I didn't realize there were mountains. Can't wait to see more on your blog.
    Congratulations.
    Love you,

  13. No mountains, Kris, just a small ranch and a black horse named Smokey. I loved it.

Glad you like my blogsite. Stop back often to see what's new.
    Love you, too.
